I have been working on a TAPI service provider (TSP) for use with the amazing FreeSWITCH.
Although there are other TSPs available out there, I've not had much success in getting them to work with FreeSWITCH
so I decided to write my own. We already use FreeSWITCH at my workplace, so this felt like a good way to give a little
back to the community.
Unlike the other TSPs that I've found, I don't use SIP as the method for controlling FreeSWITCH.
Instead, I use the excellent event system that it offers, which makes the task of monitoring and interacting with the core
really quite straightforward.
Of course there's much more to it than writing the code. So that I can support you guys properly, I've set up a
forum but it all takes time to get set up and configured. So check back here soon - I'll get the release out as soon
as I am ready to support it.
